Oak Honey: The powerful voice of nature in honey.

Oak Honey Menoikio is a rare and highly nutritious honeydew honey, collected from oak trees, chestnut trees and linden trees in the forests of Northern Greece.

It is a natural blend of forest honeys, with a dark, almost black color, thick texture and intense, "woody" flavor.

Its flavor is complex: mild bitter notes from the chestnut, balsamic sweetness from the linden, and a deep, almost caramelized aftertaste from the oak. 

It is a honey low in natural sugars, with a very high content of minerals, such as potassium, magnesium, phosphorus and iron.

Ideal for athletes, people with intense physical or mental activity, or those recovering from illness. It has strong antioxidant action, contributes to strengthening the body, and significantly helps with dyspepsia and the digestive system.

 

Honey Crystallization

This honey does not crystallize easily – it can remain liquid for over 12 months. Late crystallization is a natural phenomenon and is evidence of purity and low glucose.
