Menoikio Chestnut Honey comes from the dense chestnut forests that spread across selected areas of Northern Greece. It has a dark amber color, a strong, almost bitter aftertaste and a characteristic aroma, reminiscent of wet wood and herbs.
It is a honeydew honey, which gives it a high content of trace elements such as potassium, magnesium, iron and manganese. It has tonic, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties and is often preferred by people with intense physical or mental demands.
It is an excellent choice for strengthening the body, especially during periods of weakness or recovery. Its strong flavor does not make it ideal for children, but it is a favorite for those looking for something more “mature” and refined.
Honey Crystallization
